How they last longer.
Trim & vase
Remove the packaging, trim ~1cm off the stems at an angle, and fill your vase 3/4 full with fresh tap water (tulips: just 1/4).
Feed & clear foliage
Add the flower food sachet as directed (skip for tulips), and strip any leaves sitting below the waterline so they don't grow bacteria.
Cool spot & refresh
Keep in a cool, dry spot away from sun, heat and AC. Every 2–3 days, remove drooping stems, re-cut, and replace the water.
